Hey everyone so heads up this post is PG (for a Christian community).

I am 22years old and I’ve been struggling EXTREMELY with sex / purity.

My testosterone levels are high because I lift heavy, I’m in great shape, quality sleep, etc.

At my age, lifestyle, & T levels all I want to do is have amazing sex.

However I am completely celibate. I made the decision after I went to college and I slept around a lot. I realized that isn’t what God wants for my life.

I dated a woman for 8 months and broke up with her about 4 months ago. It was my first relationship that we strived for purity for. (We messed up a few times but didn’t go all the way). I was so proud we tried our best.

But as of now I haven’t had sex in OVER A YEAR.

I don’t masturbate & I don’t watch porn.

Obviously porn is terrible for us & it’s also my personal belief that masturbating is kind of a waste of energy & instant gratification with no work.

I have plenty of options to have sex with amazing beautiful women here where I live (San Diego) but it’s an internal conflict.

I don’t want to waste my youth by turning down very attractive women for sex but I also want to be a man of God and I want a Godly wife one day as well…

In an ideal world we could just be celibate until we are married. BUT I don’t truly want to get married until I’m more established with my business (so probably aim for late 20’s). AND I know lots of Christian’s who have married the wrong person because they held out for sex and didn’t want to wait any longer.

Back in Bible times when they got married at 14 I can see why now lol…. The modern day problems….

Rumor is that the TV deal is being held up at the moment over production credit. There is wrangling over who is credited for production and how much branding the Pac-12 network (or whatever it will be called in the future) gets in the games. The CW will have several people at every game and San Ramon to "handle the feed" it wont be a solo Pac 12 production

Hello fellow model train enthusiasts!

I recently moved into a rental last year and finally decided to explore the attic. To my surprise, I discovered a treasure trove of model train items that had been sitting there untouched for over 25 years. It turns out that the original owner of the house was a passionate model train hobbyist who had converted the attic into his own personal playground for his hobby. Unfortunately, I believe he passed away in the early 90s, and the house changed hands several times since then. Throughout these transitions, everything in the attic was left untouched.

However, it seems that the previous owner neglected the upkeep, leading to an infestation of rats in the attic. The rats caused extensive damage, chewing through wires and leaving droppings everywhere. They even managed to infiltrate the house's ventilation system, necessitating a complete replacement (this is where I come in)

Among the items I found were seven boxes of Model Railroad Magazines dating from the early 1950s to the early 1990s. Sadly, most of them are in poor condition due to moisture, mold, and what appears to be damage from paper weevils.

I've attached some pictures of the cleanup process, and it's likely that much of what I found will need to be disposed of. However, if anyone in the San Diego area is interested in attempting to salvage the magazines, please feel free to reach out to me to arrange for pickup.

I go to a wealthy high school in San Diego, and you have to take 15+ AP classes to be in the top 10%. How do you do that? Everyone who gets into the UCs, Cal Poly SLO, SDSU, and similar schools have to take that many APs and do extracurriculars that are significant too. It sucks going to a wealthy high school where expectations are so high

I (20M) had been with my girlfriend (22F) for 2 years. We currently share an apartment with my dad and have a lease for the next 5 months. Right when we moved in there were problems. My family isn’t the most cleanest of folks, so the lack of doing dishes and picking up trash on my dads part really irked me and my girlfriend. On top of that, he started breaking her things. He broke a mirror, an action figure, and a cup of hers (on accident) and barely apologized to her for them. I tried to get everyone on the same page (nobody likes being a middle man) but in an argument with my girlfriend I said “I’m holding things together for the both of us”. It was a poor judgement of words and it set her off on a tangent. She told me she wants to move out, she told me I lack self esteem and drive, and she essentially called me a pushover for not standing up for her or her feelings enough. She said she didn’t feel seen, and I assured her I never want her to feel that way and I’m sorry that she did. She said a break would be best.

We agreed on a 2 week break but one week in she told me she just wasn’t feeling it and she broke up with me. She said I wasn’t giving her the space she desired on the break, and I admit I was texting her a bit much. On top of all of this, we’re still living under the same roof. She says that she changed her mind about leaving because she knows my dad and I wouldn’t be able to afford the rent (we live in San Diego so this is very much true).

When she broke up with me I was gutted. I had just taken us to Philly 2 weeks prior for Wrestlemania and I paid for the entire trip. I thought we could do anything together. Right after she broke up with me she tells me that she still loves me, but I have a lot to work on, and maybe in the future she can see us getting back together. She also said that since we’re living under the same roof she’s like us to still be friends.

So here I am, living with my ex girlfriend, who still loves me (and I love her), who hates my dad, and still wants to be my friend. I’ve been going to therapy and tried to turn my attitude toward things around, but I’m just kind of stuck what to do and I’m severely depressed. Any advice? What should I do?
